Temporary Role Required for September 2010

Islamia Girls' Secondary School, a top independent secondary school in London, is looking to appoint a Head teacher on a temporary basis to cover the current Head teacher on Personal Leave. The post will be for a minimum of 6 months.

Islamia Girls' Secondary School is ranked in the top 15 schools in London for its GCSE results. In its last Ofsted Report in 2009, it received Outstanding in 5 out of 6 categories.

The school is a one form entry Muslim secondary that offers the full UK National Curriculum along with Islamic Studies and Arabic, serving students of all backgrounds, cultures and nationalities.

The school is seeking to appoint a committed individual as a temporary full-time Head Teacher who can:
  •   Maintain the school's outstanding record
  •   Show a proven record of successful teaching and leadership
  •   Demonstrate the vision to lead the school to even greater success
  •   Promote and maintain spiritual and moral development
  •   Inspire confidence in staff, students and parents
  •   Develop the school's curriculum
